Trappist Holiday Ale
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried ItColor is dark reddish brown, non-transparent, with one finger of off-white, creamy head that lasts throughout the experience while leaving plenty of lacing on the glass. Aroma has malt and spice, with an inviting nature. On the taste, we get a lot of fruit, especially cherry, date, and fig. The yeast and malts are dominant, with dark bread flavors and an underlying caramel and brown sugar sweetness. Mouthfeel is warming, medium body, and the 9% is pretty hidden. The fruit shows up again in the finish, with a lingering sweetness. Cheers!
