Bruery Terreux Gypsy Tart

Gypsy Tart pours a reddish brown, significantly hazy, with tons of sediment and an off white coarse head. It smells of slight funk, biscuit, and dark cherry. It's fairly carbonated with a light mouthfeel, making it seem a little watery and too reserved with notes of dried fruit, bread, and weak malt. It's not sweet, it's not sour, and it drinks a little boozy with warming at the finish. The combination of very mild funk, biscuit, and fruit with no sweetness or tartness left us wanting more in every category for a beer that's also mildly expensive. From an experimental perspective, they're on the right track, it just needs to be amped up.

This beer SUCKS. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Do not waste your money if you are a true beer drinker. Couldn't even swallow it. No. Just no!Leave a Comment:
