Brew Free! Or Die IPA
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It

Happy Fourth of July! Brew Free! or Die pours a classic golden IPA color but is more cloudy than most. It has a distinctive malty hop smell with hints of tobacco and oranges. This has a ton of pleasant hop bitterness with some complex malty characteristics in the finish. It's not particularly smooth on the finish and the bitterness in the aftertaste lingers, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. It's got a bold name and a bold taste. It's a beer that lets you know its been there and doesn't let you forget it.

A better than average IPA.martincolon Jul 4, 2015 at 9:03PM
Pretty solid flagship IPA from 21st Amendment!gabrielkimbrough Jul 4, 2015 at 10:30PM
I feel bad ranking a two, I'd rather a 2.5, but it's not good enough to round up to a 3, so I decided to round down. Smooth and mellow, good for a back yard Bbq (so an appropriate choice for July 4th). Tastes kind of like an IPA crossed with a lager.dheliker Jul 22, 2015 at 8:52PM
By popular request, we now have half ratings.. So feel free to bump that up to a 2.5!Leave a Comment:
