Out Of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter

This pumpkin porter keeps the pumpkin flavor to a minimum, which is sometimes desired during the time of season where extreme pumpkin beers are prevalent. This is a nice dark looking porter yet has a light mouthfeel for the style. It seems like the dark malts overwhelm pumpkin which leads brewers to use the caramel malt base more frequently, but this beer is a different ship in a sea of the same.

Big Muddy's Pumpkin Smasher is my favorite pumpkin beer. Pumpkin pie in a bottle, from the whipped cream down to the crust.dheliker Sep 22, 2015 at 8:07PM
Haha, nice. I gotta look for that one. I just got Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale from the SF Bay Area, I think it's better than any of the ones we had on the pumpkin show.Leave a Comment:
