Indian Wells Spicy Pumpkin Ale
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It
'Tis the season for pumpkin beers and this is not a bad one. Coloring is a clear, amber brown with a surprising head that is quite lasting. On the taste we get some brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and pumpkin, although the pumpkin doesn't overwhelm. There are some spices, but we wouldn't describe this as a spicy pumpkin ale. Overall it tastes a lot like apple pie, and seems sweeter than most beers in this category.

This is a pretty small brewery but I've been seeing their beers more and more around northern CA and southern CA. Total Wine & More is a good bet if they have that near where you live. If you can make it to the brewery in Inyokern, CA, they have a small tasting room but several beers on tap and lots to go.Leave a Comment:
