Counterbalance IPA
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried ItPours a clear, pale amber color with a finger of off-white, foamy head. Pretty nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is dank and hoppy, with both citrus and pine notes. Taste is well balanced, with lots of citrus, tropical fruit, and piney hop flavors, but also plenty of pale malt or even some darker, roasted malt flavors. With a few sips, we also got some flavors that were woody, herbal, and earthy, plus a mild sweetness. Medium body with a chewy, powdery mouthfeel. Best part of this beer is the finish. Crisp and smooth with just a hint of grapefruit and pine bitterness, this leaves you with a superb flavor long after your last sip.
