AleSchmidt Oktoberfest
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It

AleSchmidt pours a slightly hazy, golden amber color with a very thin, quickly disappearing head. Mild aroma of doughy malt and just a bit of yeast and hops. Flavor is smooth and balanced with a light body and buttery mouthfeel. Malts are lighter than previous years, and have more pale malt and doughy notes. Touches of caramel and brown sugar, although the sweetness is quite tame. The malts are rounded out by an appropriate amount of earthy and floral hops. Mouthfeel is clean with a finish that is smooth and enjoyable. Prost!

Same beer 3 days ago? Someone's been sampling too much?dheliker Sep 25, 2019 at 3:25PM
Hey Mike, it is more of a technological issue than a "too much beer" issue (though that has been known to happen from time to time). We featured the beer but it didn't go out correctly on social media. So we had a beer that looked good that got very few eyeballs, so we decided to re-run it. Good eye though! Didn't chalk it up to deja-vu!Leave a Comment:
